On February 25, 2016, the University of Toronto’s Student Union awarded Synergy Journal the “Outstanding Upcoming Group Award” at the annual Unity Ball ceremony. This award honours a group who has shown inspirational dedication to launching a new organization. It also marks a student group’s creative, enthusiastic and unique approach to promoting a new initiative to the University of Toronto campus.
